Job summary

A mobile HIU technician role with Allscreens Nationwide Ltd across London. Service, repair and maintenance of Heat Interface Units and district heating plant to keep heating and hot water systems safe and efficient on modern residential and mixed-use developments.

You will work independently, complete reports, and uphold high standards of service while travelling between sites. Training and career development are provided through a growing company.

Qualifications

• Servicing and repair HIUs.
• Strong mechanical plantroom experience.
• Experience working on district heating networks.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair HIUs.
• Diagnose and rectify faults on district heating systems.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Attend reactive breakdowns across London.
• Work on associated mechanical plantroom equipment.
• Complete service reports and documentation accurately.
• Provide excellent customer service while representing the business.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with industry standards.

£42,000 - £45,000 Basic + Up to 10% Monthly Performance Bonus

• Paid travel (1 hour each way)

The business specialises in district heat networks and works on a range of mixed-use, residential and commercial developments.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive repairs and fault finding on Heat Interface Units (HIUs) and associated district heating plant across London.

This is a mobile position working on a variety of modern residential and mixed-use developments, ensuring heating and hot water systems operate safely and efficiently.

• Service, maintain and repair Heat Interface Units (HIUs)
• Diagnose and rectify faults on district heating systems
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

Requirements

• Previous experience servicing and repairing HIUs
• Strong mechanical plantroom experience is essential
• Experience working on district heating networks
• Good fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Able to work independently and manage your own workload
