Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking a History Teacher for a leading secondary school in Redbridge, East London. The role is full-time (part-time considered), permanent, starting December 2026, with MPS1–UPS3 plus a TLR; ECTs and experienced teachers welcome.

You will join a collaborative Humanities team, delivering engaging lessons and helping students develop evidence-based, well-argued conclusions with curiosity and confidence. A supportive SLT and strong PD are provided.

Qualifications

• A degree in History or closely related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE.
• Ability to teach History at KS3–KS5.
