Randstad UK is seeking a dedicated History teacher for a full-time maternity cover in Harrogate. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS3 to KS5, track progress, and contribute to departmental initiatives.

The role requires QTS, Enhanced DBS, and strong references. A UK-wide entitlement to work is essential, with state-of-the-art facilities and a supportive team environment.

Competenze

• QTS or equivalent recognised UK qualification.
• Enhanced DBS clearance registered on Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• Provision of professional references covering two years of employment or placements.

Mansioni

• Plan, prepare, and deliver History lessons across KS3/KS4/KS5.
• Maintain records of student achievement and progress.
• Mark and assess work according to exam board criteria.
• Establish and maintain high behavioural and academic expectations.
• Differentiate resources to support diverse learners, including SEN and G&T.
• Provide timely feedback to facilitate learning and exam refinement.
• Prepare for parent consultations and curriculum evenings.
• Uphold safeguarding, health and safety duties at all times.
• Collaborate with colleagues to update schemes of work and maps.
• Contribute to extracurricular history activities.
