TeacherActive is recruiting a History Teacher in Birmingham to cover a fixed-term maternity contract. You will teach KS3 and KS4, with a possible KS5 contribution, delivering engaging lessons and providing meaningful feedback.

Qualifications

• QTS eligibility to teach in the UK, with ECTs welcome.
• Degree in History or a related discipline.
• Experience teaching in a secondary school environment.
• Ability to teach History up to KS4; KS5 experience desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan engaging History lessons for KS3/KS4 with KS5 where appropriate.
• Assess pupil progress and provide high-quality feedback.
• Contribute to the wider Humanities department and curriculum development.
