University College School seeks a permanent full-time History teacher with a strong degree and a passion for History to engage pupils across all age groups. The successful candidate will join a lively History Department and contribute to cross-department work with Politics.

ECTs are welcomed with full statutory induction, and applications from both maintained and independent sectors are encouraged. A commitment to co-curricular life and Form Tutor duties is expected.

Qualifications

• Strong graduate of a relevant degree course with a deep passion for History and the ability to convey this to pupils across all age groups.
• Open to ECTs (full statutory induction) or serving teachers seeking wider experience.
• Applications welcomed from both maintained and independent sectors.
• Willingness to contribute to co-curricular life and to act as a Form Tutor.

Responsibilities

• Teach History to pupils across all age groups with enthusiasm and clarity.
