Job summary

The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is recruiting a full-time Property Services Manager to join the Estates Team, overseeing maintenance programmes across Stratford-upon-Avon’s historic properties and operational buildings. You will manage a small team and support energy management, sustainability, and compliance reporting within a diverse estate.

You will hold safety qualifications (IOSH/NEBOSH), PAL IPAF, a valid driving license and First Aid at Work, with SSSTS/SMSTS either held or pursued.

Qualifications

• IOSH/NEBOSH Managing Safely or similar qualification.
• PAL IPAF Certification.
• Clean driver's license.
• First Aid at Work certificate.
• SSSTS or SMSTS Certification (holding or willing to qualify).

Responsibilities

• Manage reactive, cyclical and compliance maintenance programmes for all property and land within the Estate.
• Oversee Property Services Helpdesk enquiries, respond and deliver facilities management services and sustainability reporting.
• Maintain property and finance records and provide administrative support to Estates.
• Lead energy management: monitor utility contracts and promote cost effectiveness and sustainability.
• Directly manage Property Services Assistant, Cleaning Team Leader and Estates Administrator; supervise contractors as needed.
