Job summary

The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust is recruiting a full-time Property Services Manager to join our Estates Team across Stratford-upon-Avon’s historic properties. You will lead reactive, cyclical and compliance maintenance programmes for all estate buildings, oversee the Property Services Helpdesk, and manage energy usage and supplier contracts.

The role also heads the Cleaning Team and supervises the Estates Administrator and Property Services Assistant, ensuring efficient service delivery,

Qualifications

• Managing reactive, cyclical and compliance maintenance programmes for all estate buildings.
• Overseeing the Property Services Helpdesk and information systems.
• Monitoring energy usage and ensuring cost-effective contracts.
• Supervising cleaning teams and facilities contractors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Estates and Property Services team to deliver efficient services.
• Maintain property and finance records and statutory reporting.
• Ensure health and safety compliance across all sites.
• Coordinate with admin staff (Estates Administrator, Property Services Assistant).
