Job summary

Sonic Healthcare UK is recruiting a HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist for a fixed-term contract in Hemel Hempstead Hospital. The role involves working within the Histopathology department, rotating through histology, dissection and immunohistochemistry to maintain a high-quality diagnostic service.

The position is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with a DBS check required on onboarding and a salary up to £51,217 per annum depending on experience and regional pay allowances.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist with eligibility to work in the UK.
• Rotate through all sections of histopathology: routine histology, specimen dissection and immunohistochemistry.
• DBS check required as part of on-boarding.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through all sections of histopathology to support routine histology, dissection and IHC.
• Work within a busy, but friendly department to deliver a high-quality service.
