The Cellular Pathology Department at Hemel Hempstead Hospital is looking to recruit a HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist to work within Histopathology for a fixed-term contract until September 2027.
We are seeking a motivated individual to work within a busy, but friendly department and to participate in all activities required to run an efficient, high-quality service.
The Cellular Pathology department at Hemel Hempstead processes around 46,000 histology and 3,700 cytology samples a year as well as running a busy Andrology service to the local population. The post-holder will be expected to rotate through all sections of the histopathology department to include routine histology, specimen dissection and immunohistochemistry.
