Job summary

GAP Group Ltd. in Swansea is seeking a Hire & Sales Coordinator for our Plant & Tool division. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling hire requests, coordinating logistics, and resolving queries to keep operations running smoothly.

The role combines customer service with sales accountability in a fast-paced depot environment, offering real opportunities for career progression within a growing family-run business. On-site at Swansea depot.

Qualifications

• Ideally proven experience in a high-volume hire desk or similar fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commercial edge and a drive to increase sales.
• Confident IT skills, including Outlook and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Managing incoming and outgoing hires per day across plant and tool equipment.
• Processing hire desk administration and handling customer and supplier queries with speed and accuracy.
• Ensuring stock levels meet demand and identifying opportunities to maximise sales.
• Coordinating with drivers and fitters to ensure timely deliveries and collections.
• Resolving customer complaints and supplier issues with professionalism and efficiency.
