Speedy Hire Plc in Newport seeks a proactive Hire Controller to be at the heart of our depot operations. You will handle enquiry-to-collection cycles, ensuring timely deliveries and high levels of customer service.
You'll coordinate with drivers and stock teams, maintain records, and support ongoing depot performance and ESG initiatives. Previous hire industry experience and a full UK driving licence are preferred.

Working Hours - Mon - Fri, 07:30 - 17:00 - 42 hours per week
Temporary Contract - 12 Months

As a Hire Controller, you'll be at the heart of our depot operation, ensuring our customers receive an exceptional experience from enquiry through to collection.
No two days are the same. You'll work closely with customers, drivers, engineers and depot colleagues to coordinate the hire process, ensuring equipment is delivered on time, collections are arranged efficiently and customers receive the highest level of service throughout their hire journey.
Your ability to build strong relationships, communicate effectively and keep multiple priorities organised will be key to your success.
