Groundforce is seeking a confident and organised Hire Controller to join our busy team in Morley. This is an office-based role handling hire requests, coordinating with depots and transport, and ensuring equipment is delivered on time and to specification.

You will thrive in a busy environment, enjoy working with people, and take pride in getting the details right. A full driving licence and access to a car are beneficial due to location and transport options.

We're looking for a confident and organised team player to join our busy team as a Hire Controller. This is a fast-paced, office-based role where you’ll play a key part in delivering great service to our construction industry customers. You’ll be responsible for processing hire requests, coordinating with our depots and transport team, and ensuring equipment is delivered on time and to specification.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy environment, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in getting the details right.

Due to the location of our office and the requirement for an 8:00 AM start, candidates should ideally be based in or around the Morley area. Public transport options are limited, so access to a car and a full driving licence would be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities

• Responding to incoming telephone calls and emails from customers, providing prompt and professional service.
• Processing on-hire and off-hire requests using our dedicated hire management system with a high level of accuracy.
• Preparing and issuing hire quotations based on customer requirements.
• Coordinating with operational depots and the transport team to arrange equipment deliveries, collections, and exchanges.
• Liaising with internal teams to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and on time.
• Maintaining accurate records of customer activity, hire information, and system data.
• Assisting with checking product availability and supporting depot stock control processes.
• Helping to resolve any service issues or queries efficiently and escalating when required.
