Job summary

Speedy Hire, the UK’s leading hire provider, is seeking a Hire Controller in Leeds. You will coordinate the full hire process from order to delivery and collection, liaising across the depot to meet customer needs and ensure service excellence.

This desk-based position requires strong organisational and communication skills, a driving licence, and a willingness to learn. Working 42 hours per week, with a salary of £29,572 per annum, the role offers staff benefits and ongoing development

Qualifications

• Experience in hire industry or similar sales/operational role.
• Full driving licence.
• Based in the Leeds area or willing to commute.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the hire process from order to delivery and collection.
• Liaise with stock, drivers and engineers to meet customer needs.
• Desk-based role with frontline sales and customer service at the depot.
• Work with other departments to ensure timely fulfilment of customer requirements.

Salary

£29,572 per annum

Based in the depot, the Hire Controller is a vital part of operations on the front line of sales and customer service. Relationship building is the key to success, as the Hire Controller coordinates the entire hire process from taking the order through to delivery and collection, liaising with every part of the depot to ensure the needs of the customer are met and that they’re satisfied with our service.

On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be desk-based, working directly with the other departments, liaising regularly with stock teams, drivers and engineers to ensure minimal delay in fulfilling the needs of the customer with readily available equipment and close contact.
