Job summary

Speedy, the UK’s leading hire provider, is recruiting for a Hire Controller in Doncaster. You will coordinate the entire hire process from order to delivery and collection, liaising with depot teams to meet customer needs and ensure satisfaction.

Based in the depot, you’ll work closely with stock, drivers and engineers to minimise delays, delivering excellent service and building strong relationships with customers. Salary £29,572 per annum, pro rata.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Commitment to learn and develop.
• Driving licence.
• Previous experience working within the hire industry or similar sales or operational role.
• Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver.

Job Title - Hire Controller

Location - Doncaster

Salary £29,572 per annum, pro rata

Based in the depot, the Hire Controller is a vital part of operations on the front line of sales and customer service. Relationship building is the key to success, as the Hire Controller coordinates the entire hire process from taking the order through to delivery and collection, liaising with every part of the depot to ensure the needs of the customer are met and that they’re satisfied with our service.

On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to be desk-based, working directly with the other departments, liaising regularly with stock teams, drivers and engineers to ensure minimal delay in fulfilling the needs of the customer with readily available equipment and close contact.
