R&R Tuition in Hillingdon is seeking a SEND Tutor to deliver 1:1 educational support to learners with SEND/-SEMH, from Early Years to KS4. You will teach core subjects English, Maths and Science alongside personalised SEND-focused learning in a supportive, trauma-informed setting.

Experience in teaching, private tuition, or related roles is valued; QTS is desirable though not essential. Term-time hours 10–20 per week, with competitive hourly pay in this London area.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children/young people with SEND/SEMH.
• UK-based experience preferred (teaching, tutoring, or related roles).

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 face-to-face educational support from Early Years through KS4.
• Deliver core-subject English, Maths and Science alongside SEND-focused learning.
• Use positive, proactive behaviour strategies to build trust and engagement.
• Take a nurturing, trauma-informed approach to meet individual learner needs.
• Complete initial academic and emotional assessments to establish targets.
• Record and communicate regular progress updates; monitor daily attendance.
• Support learners to reintegrate into mainstream or alternative education settings.
