Job summary

Manpower Group (UK) in Cambridge is recruiting for De-Veg Operative - Highways. The role pays £30,000-£45,000 with a 50% night uplift, and offers full-time hours Monday to Friday with no weekends. You will work on highways vegetation, operating tractors, and performing safety-focused tree work when needed.

Applicants should hold a valid UK driving licence (B); CSCS, CS30/31, and brushcutter qualifications are expected. Training and career progression are available within a professional team.

Qualifications

• Experience in arboriculture or highways required.
• Valid UK driving licence (B); C1 preferred.
• CSCS card and CS30/31 certification are required.
• Brushcutter qualification and MEWP/FAA W qualification are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractors with flails to keep verges tidy.
• Drive safely between sites on public highways.
• Perform daily machine checks and light maintenance.
• Work within traffic-managed environments.
• Record site work and details on a tablet.
• Carry out tree works safely for tree surgeons/climbers.
