Job summary

Manpower UK Limited is recruiting for experienced Tree Surgeons and Climbers to join the highways vegetation team in Cambridge. The role involves operating tractors with flails, safe highway travel, and on-site documentation using a tablet.

For climbers, tree works must be performed safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will hold a valid UK driving licence (B), CSCS card with CS30/31 certification, and have arboriculture/highways experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in arboriculture or highways.
• Experience as Tree Surgeon or Climber.
• Willingness to work day/night shifts, Monday-Friday.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractors with flails to maintain verges.
• Drive safely between road sites on public highways.
• Perform daily machine checks and light maintenance.
• Work confidently within traffic-managed environments.
• Record site work and details using a tablet.
• Carry out tree works safely and efficiently (for climbers).
