Job summary

Civic Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Traffic Co-ordinator for a 7‑month contract with a London borough. You will support highway network management, coordinate road works, events, and temporary traffic arrangements, and ensure compliance with statutory duties under the Traffic Management Act 2004.

You will oversee TTROs, crane licensing, and stakeholder engagement, delivering safe, efficient traffic flows while maintaining records and reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating street works, highway activities or traffic management operations.
• Strong coordination, negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate TTROs, crane licensing and traffic management for road works and events.
• Manage TTRO lifecycle from assessment to implementation and record‑keeping.
• Liaise with emergency services, TfL, police and stakeholders to ensure safe operations.
