Job summary

Cumberland Council is seeking a motivated Highways Technician to join our Highways and Transport service. In this varied role, you'll support the design, delivery and monitoring of highway improvement and maintenance projects.

You'll collect and analyse asset data, prepare designs and specifications, support winter maintenance activities, and provide technical advice to colleagues and stakeholders while complying with legislation and Council policies.

Qualifications

• Relevant technical or vocational qualification or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills and ability to organise workload.
• Good IT skills and familiarity with IT systems.

Responsibilities
