Job summary

Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a Supervisor Roadworker to undertake and supervise the maintenance and construction of roads, sewers, drains and groundwork, as part of a team or alone. The role covers operating highways vehicles, and winter maintenance activities.

You will have essential criteria including highway maintenance experience, a valid driving license and supervision/mentoring experience.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience of highway maintenance and construction work.
• A valid driving license.
• Supervision and mentoring experience.
• Desirable: New Roads & Street Works Accredited Operative.
• Desirable: Training in the use of small plant, such, but not limited to, abrasive wheel and light plant.
