Job summary

Anglian Water seeks a Streetworks & Utilities Co-Ordinator to ensure highways projects are managed from inception to completion, meeting standards, cost targets and timelines. The role supports the IOS framework and involves travel within the East Anglia area to coordinate with alliance partners.

You will deliver comprehensive utility information to delivery teams via designers, maintain permits, and liaise with councils, utilities, and the public to ensure successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of latest Street Works Act, Traffic Management Act and permit conditions COP.
• Ability to interpret street works legislation and guide colleagues.
• Experience building relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate day-to-day activities on the public highway network.
• Ensure safety of the travelling public and minimise traffic congestion.
• Manage utility search applications to avoid delays on planned works.
• Monitor road space and collaborate with other promoters.
• Raise permits in compliance with scheme conditions and requests.
• Monitor permits to prevent overruns and ensure conditions are implemented.
• Apply for Temporary Traffic Regulations Orders as needed.
• Liaise with Anglian Water, Parish and County Council partners and the public.
