Job summary

Anglian Water Group Ltd. is seeking a Streetworks & Utilities Co-ordinator in Peterborough to support the IOS programme. You will manage highway works, co-ordinate utility searches and permits, and collaborate with councils and stakeholders to keep projects on schedule and compliant.

The role requires knowledge of street works legislation, strong IT skills, and the ability to work both in a team and autonomously to deliver safe and efficient outcomes. A customer-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of latest New Roads and Street Works Act, Traffic Management Act and permit conditions COP.
• Ability to interpret street works legislation and regulations to guide colleagues.
• Strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and good customer service.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate day-to-day activities on the public highway network to minimise disruption and maintain safety.
• Process and monitor utility search applications to avoid delays on planned works.
• Liaise with councils and stakeholders to manage permits and traffic restrictions in line with IOS programmes.
• Raise permits per DFT Permit Schemes and County Council requirements, ensuring compliance with NRSWA.
