Job summary

Rated Traders Ltd is seeking an Engagement Officer to support a high-volume highways programme with extensive community and stakeholder engagement. You will map stakeholders, coordinate engagement plans, handle enquiries and organise in-person activities across multiple schemes.

You will work with highways teams, communications, elected Members, residents and businesses to ensure engagement is inclusive, well‑organised and recorded, with feedback fed back to project teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in stakeholder engagement and mapping.
• Ability to plan and deliver engagement activities across schemes.
• Strong written and verbal communication and report writing.
• Awareness of data protection and confidentiality in public engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain stakeholder maps and contact records.
• Coordinate delivery of engagement plans across schemes.
• Organise in-person activity and manage engagement assets and logistics.
• Monitor progress, raise risks, and deliver engagement reports.
• Balance workload across multiple schemes and adapt to priorities.
