Job summary

National Highways is seeking a Site Supervisor to join the Operations team in the East region. The role involves construction surveillance and assurance inspections to verify quality of works by external contractors, with regular travel to sites across the region.

The position requires living near Bedford, Cambridge, or Ipswich, and driving with up to 3 points on a licence. Overtime and out-of-hours allowance are available in addition to base salary.

Qualifications

• Proven highway/structures and maintenance/construction experience.
• Good understanding of CDM Regulations and related standards.
• CSCS? SSSTS or SMSTS certificates are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assure completion of planned works to agreed standards.
• Provide timely feedback on progress, risks and design issues.
• Coordinate delivery programme with supply chain partners.
• Represent National Highways on construction/maintenance sites and manage stakeholder expectations.
