Job summary

Carrington West is seeking an experienced Site Agent for a long-term highways scheme based in Cambridge. You will lead day-to-day site operations, manage site teams and subcontractors, and ensure safety, programme, budget and quality compliance on all works.

Ideally you have a civil engineering background with National Highways or local authority project exposure and hold SMSTS, CSCS (Gold/Black) and First Aid. This contract role offers an outside IR35 environment and a daily rate of £350-£400.

Qualifications

• Must have an engineering background with civil/Highways experience.
• SMSTS and CSCS are essential site qualifications.
• First Aid certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage delivery of highways works for National Highways and local authorities.
• Plan and coordinate site activities, resources and subcontractors.
• Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, on budget and to spec.
