Job summary

RTL Group Ltd in Doncaster is seeking a Site Agent to lead a major highways project. You will oversee delivery of a 14km highway with new structures, focusing on safety, quality and efficiency on site.

Ideal candidates bring experience in highways, earthworks, drainage and structures, plus NEC contract knowledge, CSCS and SMSTS, and a proven ability to plan, negotiate and build strong relationships with the project team.

Qualifications

• Degree or HND/HNC in Civil Engineering or related field.
• CSCS card holder.
• SMSTS certification.
• Experience in highways, structures, earthworks and drainage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure delivery of the project on time, to budget and to quality standards.
• Comply with the Integrated Management System procedures and guidance.
• Familiarise with contract docs and drawings to ensure safe, efficient delivery.

Job description

We are currently looking to recruit a Site Agent to work for one of our leading main contractor clients over on a long term highways project in the heart of Doncaster!

The project consists of the construction a 14km highway and new structures. This is an ideal opportunity for a candidate with highways, structures, earthworks and drainage industry experience.

Role Responsibility

• Ensure the delivery of the Project on time, to budget and to the standard of quality required
• Comply and implement the companies Integrated Management System procedures and guidance and promote its implementation with the Project Team
• Familiarise themselves with all Contract Documentation and Drawings including Company Management Plans to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of the Project.
• Promote and lead the site safety culture, ensuring that all works are carried out in a planned, controlled and safe manner, in accordance with statutory regulations, current standards, and the Company SHEQ standards

Education/Certification Requirements:

• Preferably a further education qualification e.g. Degree or HND/HNC (ideally relatable to Civil Engineering) or equivalent qualifications
