Job summary

Kier is seeking an Operative to join the South West Water team based in Paignton or Exeter. You will reinstate highways and surfaces after excavation works, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and you will operate plant and complete tablet-based documentation.

You should have a CSCS card or equivalent, and driving licence. Training can be provided for EUSR Water Hygiene or NRSWA certifications. A full-time role with shifting hours and potential overtime is available.

Qualifications

• Full driving licence required.
• Experience in highway reinstatement or utilities reinstatement.
• CSCS, EUSR Water Hygiene or NRSWA certification (training can be provided).

Responsibilities

• Reinstate highways and surfaces after excavation using materials like tarmac or concrete.
• Operate plant and machinery safely (rollers, compactors).
• Complete job documentation using tablet-based systems.
• Maintain site safety and traffic management in coordination with teams.
