Job summary

Marlborough Highways Ltd is seeking an experienced Reactive Supervisor to lead and coordinate teams in Windsor and Maidenhead, ensuring works meet contract requirements and deadlines.

You will supervise directly employed and Sub-Contract labour, drive safe working practices, and manage resources to deliver projects efficiently and cost-effectively. This is a permanent, site-based role in Windsor.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising teams in highway maintenance projects.
• Knowledge of Highways term maintenance contracts and customer requirements.
• Ability to generate and deliver management information (MI) monthly.
• Full driving licence.
• Strong commitment to health and safety policies and procedures.
• Desirable experience with Confirm and Street Manager systems.
• Desirable traffic management knowledge and LANTRA accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Safe running of allocated sites and adherence to safe working procedures.
• Prepare risk assessments and method statements.
• Liaise with Sub-Contractors and client on site and at depot.
• Conduct site inductions and regular safety inspections.
• Organise staff, plant and materials to meet progress targets.
• Monitor cost effectiveness and ensure contractual compliance.
• Support Contract/Operations Manager to maintain commercial viability.
