Job summary

Ringway, a leader in the Highways Term Maintenance Industry, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our National Highways contract team. You will manage subcontract accounts, prepare valuations and claims, support cost control activities and ensure the successful commercial delivery of maintenance and response works across the network.

The ideal candidate holds a Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering qualification (or significant relevant experience) with 4+ years in construction,

Qualifications

Quantify and manage valuations, payment applications and variations.
Strong knowledge of standard measurement methods (MMHW advantageous).
Experience with cost control and CVR analysis.
NEC contract experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

Manage subcontractor accounts and ensure timely payment notices.
Prepare valuations and claims through the client’s system with supporting documents.
Measure completed works using as-built information and site records.
Collaborate with operations and supply chain to gather evidence and resolve queries.
Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities throughout the contract.
Support and develop junior surveyors within the team.
Contribute to improved commercial performance and value generation.
