MBS Recruitment Solutions Ltd is helping a major UK contractor recruit a Quantity Surveyor for a £300m+ highways scheme in Cheltenham. It offers a competitive salary, car/allowance, private healthcare, pension and flexible working. You will work with an experienced team on full commercial lifecycle activities from the outset.

Ideal candidates have highways/infrastructure exposure, strong teamwork, and a readiness to take on larger packages as they prove themselves on site.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor on highways, infrastructure or civil engineering projects.
• NEC contract knowledge is advantageous.
• Able to work in a project team and take ownership as you develop.

Responsibilities

• Manage subcontractor procurement, valuations and change control.
• Prepare cost reports and track variations across the commercial lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Senior QS and Commercial Manager to take on larger packages.
