Job summary

Eurovia Specialist Treatments is looking for a driven and commercially astute Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. This role involves the commercial management of multiple highway maintenance, surface treatment and infrastructure projects across the UK, ensuring projects are delivered on budget with strong commercial controls.

You will work closely with operational teams, clients and subcontractors, preparing valuations, managing costs and final accounts, and providing contractual advice.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in highways, civil engineering, infrastructure or construction.
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts.
• Excellent commercial awareness and financial management skills.
• Experience managing subcontractors and supplier accounts.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities.
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline preferred.
• Membership of RICS or working towards chartership would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing the commercial and contractual aspects of projects from inception to completion.
• Preparing valuations, applications for payment and final accounts.
• Monitoring project costs, forecasts and financial performance.
• Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities.
• Reviewing subcontractor accounts, payments and variations.
• Supporting project teams with contractual advice and dispute resolution.
• Producing accurate cost reports and commercial updates for senior management.
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders.
