Carrington West is seeking an experienced Project Manager / Construction Manager for a long-term highways infrastructure contract in Luton. You will lead site operations, coordinate contractors and stakeholders, and ensure delivery on time, on budget and to quality standards.

The role requires proven highways and civil engineering delivery experience, with CSCS and SMSTS, and an immediate start on an £7m junction improvement scheme.

Competenze

• Proven experience leading highways or civil infrastructure projects.
• Experience delivering junction upgrades or similar schemes.
• Strong knowledge of construction planning and commercial awareness.
• Familiarity with CDM regulations and health & safety legislation.

Mansioni

• Oversee day-to-day delivery of the £7m junction improvement scheme.
• Manage site activities, subcontractors and the project team.
• Monitor programmes, budgets and milestone progress.
• Ensure works comply with health and safety legislation and standards.
• Coordinate with clients, authorities, utilities and consultants.
• Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Oversee quality assurance and inspections against specs.
• Monitor resources and subcontractor performance to maintain progress.
• Attend progress meetings and report performance and risks.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and site records.
