Job summary

RTL Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee earthworks and drainage on a highways scheme in Leeds.

You will plan and coordinate site activities, manage subcontractors and resources, and ensure delivery on time and within budget. Responsibilities include monitoring progress against programme, maintaining quality standards, and liaising with clients and engineers to meet safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager on highways or civil engineering schemes.
• Strong experience managing earthworks and drainage packages.
• Excellent knowledge of construction planning, programme management and site delivery.
• Experience managing subcontractors, budgets and project resources.
• Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills.
• Relevant civil engineering qualifications and health and safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Managing the delivery of earthworks and drainage packages on a highways scheme.
• Planning and coordinating site activities to ensure works are delivered safely, on time and within budget.
• Managing subcontractors, site teams and resources.
• Monitoring project progress against programme and identifying potential delays or issues.
• Ensuring works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Maintaining accurate project records, reporting progress and managing project documentation.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety requirements and relevant industry standards.
• Liaising with the client, engineers and other project stakeholders.
