Job summary

RTL Group Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee drainage works on a highway construction scheme, ensuring delivery on time and to safety standards. You will coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers, interpret drawings, monitor costs and progress, and report to clients and management.

SMSTS preferred and civil engineering qualifications are advantageous for this role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager on highway or civil engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of drainage installation and associated infrastructure.
• Experience managing subcontractors, budgets and project programmes.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee drainage works, including surface water drainage, pipework, culverts and associated infrastructure.
• Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, engineers and suppliers.
• Ensure works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme.
• Monitor project progress, costs, resources and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures, RAMS and quality standards.
• Liaise with clients, consultants and site management to resolve technical and operational issues.
• Provide regular progress updates and reports.
