Executive Connect LTD is seeking a Highways Operative for a 3-month contract based in Gateshead to maintain and construct roads, bridges, drainage and related highway works. You should bring demonstrated experience in highways environments with knowledge of bit-mac, kerbs, drainage and associated tasks.

The role requires a strong hands-on background, CSCS card, full UK driving licence, and willingness to undertake shift and out-of-hours activities in support of winter maintenance and emergency

Qualifications

• Experience from a highways or building environment.
• CSCS card and driving licence are essential.
• NVQ 2 or equivalent in highways required.

Responsabilités

• Undertake maintenance and construction of roads, bridges, drainage and related works.
• Set out for work as required and ensure high quality workmanship.
• Operate or assist with specialist plant and machinery when required.
• Participate in winter maintenance and emergency response activities.
• Transfer between services as needed.
