Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a competent driver to operate and maintain fleet for highways and construction projects. You will perform vehicle checks, manage routing, and participate in standby duties, including emergency callouts.

The role requires a valid HGV Class 2 licence, CPC, NRSWA card, and a proactive safety mindset. You will work as part of a team, prioritising safe working practices and efficient service delivery.

Qualifications

• Holds a valid HGV Class 2 licence and Driver CPC card.
• Preferred NRSWA card and 12D RTMOperative (Mod1/2).
• Emergency First Aid and Manual Handling training are advantageous.
• Strong communication and proactive problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain vehicles including highway and plant equipment, ensuring checks and routing maintenance are completed.
• Contribute to construction and highways maintenance projects.
• Participate in standby duties and emergency callouts as required.
• Maintain drivers hours records and related paperwork in compliance with regulations.
• Adhere to Health and Safety guidelines at all times.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain vehicles, including HGVs and small plant machinery, ensuring all checks and routing maintenance are completed.
• Engage in construction and highways maintenance works, contributing your expertise to various projects.
• Participate in winter and summer standby duties, including emergency callouts.
• Maintain accurate records of Drivers' hours and relevant paperwork as required.
• Adhere to Health and Safety regulations, ensuring compliance at all times.
• Possess and maintain important qualifications including a valid HGV license (Class 2 preferred) and Drivers CPC card, as well as an NRSWA card.
