Job summary

Ringway London is looking for a Highways Operative skilled with HGV to handle a variety of routine works in Hounslow. The role involves managing a team, ensuring safety, completing paperwork, and responding to emergencies. The position is permanent and requires full-time commitment from Monday to Friday. Successful candidates will need a valid HGV licence and other relevant competencies. Training and qualifications will be provided to support your development within the role.

Summary

To carry out a wide range of routine or cyclical works and operations. Deputise for Chargehand as and when required. Able to run a 2 person crew on specific jobs and ensure work is carried out to specification. Manage safety of the team and complete all necessary reporting, paper or electronic. Where required, to respond to emergencies and call outs during or out of hours, and assist with winter maintenance.

• LGV licence
• NRSWA if required
• Use a range of power tools and equipment
• Use of PDA as required

• OR specialist skills in one of the following: Specialist driving / gully emptying / LGV Winter / VRS (basic) / TM 12 a, b, c or d / Dealing with the public / NVQ2 Winter - 6159
