We have fantastic opportunities for Permanent Highways Maintenance / Traffic Management Operatives to join our NMC North East Account in Dundee.
Our NMC NE Account, awarded to us in 2022, supports Transport Scotland. This account aims to deliver improved service levels to the trunk road network, ensuring consistent, predictable, and reliable journeys for road users. Works include maintenance, road safety, bridges and structures, and discrete improvement schemes, aligned with Scottish Government’s climate change and sustainability targets. We will also implement an enhanced winter and incident response service, improve communications, and introduce new technologies for better management of trunk network assets and maintenance activities.
The Highway Maintenance / Traffic Management Operative plays a vital role in constructing minor and major civils schemes, as well as routine maintenance activities.
The standard hours are 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The role involves overtime, participation in on-call rotas, and night shifts as required.

It would be ideal if you have previous winter experience and a valid HGV Class 2 license. HGV training can be provided for suitable candidates.
Previous civils, trade, or street works experience is desirable to help you start effectively.
