Job summary

Ringway London is seeking an Operative to perform general maintenance and operations under a Chargehand, handling a wide range of routine tasks and emergencies. The role includes responding to call-outs, and assisting with winter maintenance as a second man or driver’s mate, with apprenticeship-trained staff included.

The position is permanent, full-time (39 hours, Monday to Friday) at the Stevenage site, with potential to progress through practical training and safety courses to support ongoing

Qualifications

• CSCS card if client requirement.
• Current Driving Licence.
• Minimum level of everyday behaviour as set out in the company behaviours matrix.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general maintenance works and operations.
• Respond to emergencies and call-outs during or out of hours on rotas as required.
• Assist with winter maintenance activities as a second man or driver’s mate.
• Includes apprentices who have fully completed training.
