Amey is seeking a Permanent Highway Maintenance Operative (HMO) to join the Area 7 team. The role involves maintaining and improving the strategic road network, delivering highways maintenance activities safely and efficiently. Essential experience includes driving licences (UK and HGV Class 2), leadership, emergency response, winter maintenance, and traffic management on high-speed roads.
45-hour weeks with day/night rotation. A PHSC and SSSTS/SMSTS are preferred.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Permanent Highway Maintenance Operative (HMO) to join our dynamic Area 7 team.
The standard hours of work are 45 hours per week, working a rotating shift pattern of days and nights, typically one week of day shifts followed by one week of night shifts. Day shifts are 8 hours and night shifts are 10 hours.
As a Highway Maintenance Operative, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving the strategic road network by delivering a variety of highways maintenance activities safely and efficiently.
