Job summary

EKFB in Milton Keynes is recruiting a Handover and Completion Manager (Highways) to join the Routewide team. You will monitor route-wide handover, completion and commissioning activities and help develop related policies and guidance.

The role requires coordinating with Highways, local authorities and internal teams to ensure timely delivery. The successful candidate will have a civil engineering degree (Chartered preferred) with extensive highways project experience and strong communication

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in civil engineering or related field, ideally Chartered.
• Extensive highways construction and/or design experience, with handover, completion and commissioning focus on major projects.
• Experience securing consents from local councils at various project stages.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influence; ability to drive delivery and business improvement.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and report progress on route-wide handover, completion and commissioning activities.
• Develop policies, procedures and guidance for handover, completion and commissioning in the Business Management System.
• Act as main point of contact between H&C Team and Highways; support route-wide maintenance scope development and procurement packaging.
• Programme and manage highway assets consents and related works; coordinate with Route wide Commercial Team as needed.
• Review and update highways completion plans and prepare guidance for practical application.
