Qualifications

• Five GCSEs including Maths and English are required.
• Three A-Levels including Maths and a physical science are required for the Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship.
• Aptitude for technical drawing, engineering design and CAD tools is important.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with highway design drawings and supporting documentation using CAD and design software.
• Support development and delivery of highway schemes from feasibility to detailed design.
• Assist with the design of roads, junctions and pedestrian/cycle infrastructure.
• Help prepare highway layouts in line with design standards and specifications.
• Support site visits, surveys and data collection for highway design.
