Infrastructure and Environment Division
Our national I&E Division incorporates geotechnical, transport, highway design, water environment and air quality services and has offices throughout the UK. The Highways team, while providing coverage nationally, is located in our Bristol and Manchester offices. The highways work undertaken by the team is predominantly in the residential and commercial sectors to support private developments and ranges from dealing with Local and County Councils to National Highways.

Overview of the role
You will be responsible for delivering technical support to the development of highway and general infrastructure projects. Working as part of a team within a growing multi-disciplinary consultancy and operating across a variety of projects, you will undertake scheme development, preliminary and detailed designs, and project coordination.
You will be expected to work in a design office environment but will also play an active role in design and site meetings, site inspections, and progress reporting. Good communication and effective liaison with clients, architects, contractors, and regulatory/statutory authorities are key attributes.
