Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is looking for a Civil Engineer to join their Southampton office. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Civil Engineering and have experience in highways design according to DMRB standards. You will be responsible for preparing designs and specifications and mentoring graduate engineers. Qualifications

• Experience in Highways design in accordance with DMRB.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards.
• Experience in delivering design projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare designs and specifications for projects.
• Develop technical designs using relevant software.
• Work collaboratively with project managers and clients.

Skills

Highways design experience

AutoCAD proficiency

Civil3D proficiency

Knowledge of CDM

Mentoring junior staff

Education

Degree in Civil Engineering

Working towards IEng or CEng status
