Job summary

CDM Recruitment seeks an experienced Contracts Manager for highways/civil engineering projects in Pontefract. You will oversee delivery, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure projects meet time, budget and quality standards on NEC4-based contracts.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in senior project delivery, strong client relations, and a track record of managing budgets and risks within live highway environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in a senior project delivery role.
• Experience managing multiple highways/civils projects.
• Experience working under NEC contracts, ideally NEC4.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the successful delivery of allocated highways/civils projects.
• Lead and manage Project Managers, Site Managers, Engineers and Supervisors.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and site resources.
• Monitor programme, costs, risks and commercial performance.
