Job summary

Egis Group in Leatherhead is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead complex highways and technology schemes through their full lifecycle. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets and schedules, and liaise with stakeholders to ensure safe, on-time delivery.

Flexible working arrangements include part-time, job share or full-time, with travel to sites as required. The role demands strong contract management, collaboration and leadership capabilities across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with Portfolio Manager, project teams and stakeholders to ensure delivery objectives.
• Maintain compliance with contract terms, manage risks and produce timely reports.
• Design, agree and implement project plans to deliver objectives with appropriate resources.
• Lead programmes through feasibility, design, construction and handover; inform investment proposals at each stage.
• Develop cost profiles and identify key risks and resource needs.
• Identify risks, issues and milestones; implement mitigation strategies.
• Oversee Sub Contractors and Designers, ensuring safety, time and cost targets are met and remedial action is taken when needed.
• Support sustainability activities including net zero and biodiversity net gain.
• Coordinate permits, certificates and site reporting to align with project needs.
• Manage NEC Contracts Options as Project Manager.
