The Role

Schedule: Full Time, Remote

Location: Flexible

Travel: 50%

This role plays a vital part in guiding the creation, development, and execution of asset care strategies within Imperial Brands Factories on a global scale, as part of the broader Imperial Operating System. The position focuses on enhancing asset performance, reliability, and longevity through the implementation of innovative maintenance practices and technologies across factories.

You’ll be leading the creation and deployment of a Global Asset Care Strategy across Imperial Brands Factories, with a primary focus on optimizing Profit and Loss benefits, as well as machinery availability and reliability. This includes establishing functional policies and conditions to enhance organizational effectiveness concerning machinery availability through a globally standardized approach to maintenance, spare parts, and sustainability management.

As the Global Asset Care Strategy Development & Deployment Manager, you'll join an inclusive, innovative global FMCG business supported by 25,000 employees.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Collaborate in formulating asset care deployment strategies aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Work closely with regional teams and stakeholders to ensure consistent implementation and execution of asset care strategies worldwide.
  • Establish metrics and KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of asset care initiatives and monitor performance against targets.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies and methodologies for asset care, driving their integration into existing systems and processes.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the asset care team, encouraging innovation, knowledge sharing, and process optimization.
  • Proactively anticipate and mitigate risks related to asset reliability and performance through effective maintenance planning and risk assessment.
  • Develop comprehensive training programs and resources to enhance the skills and capabilities of asset care personnel globally.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to align asset care strategies with business objectives and promote collaboration across departments.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Experience in Manufacturing, with a general understanding of technical topics.
  • Extensive experience in Lean, preferably combined with change management experience in large, decentralized, international organizations.
  • Proficiency in culture change and organizational development, with the ability to utilize various influencing techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills at all levels, with proficiency in business English.
  • Strong networking skills and the ability to inspire colleagues in Lean Thinking.
