My client is currently seeking an experienced Highways Design Team Leader to join their Consultancy division, based from their Victoria office. The role is full-time, permanent, and offers a competitive salary and a wide range of benefits.
As the Highways Design Team Leader, you will help lead the development and delivery of their excellent design services. You will join the Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) team, delivering projects in high-profile central London locations such as Leicester Square and Whitehall. You will provide technical direction, liaise with clients, contractors, and other divisions such as Term Maintenance, Structures, and Lighting. You will resolve technical issues as they occur and monitor the progress of your areas of responsibility.

What skills and experience do you need?
They are looking for a Chartered Engineer, who holds IEng or equivalent. You will have significant experience of highway engineering and urban design within a consultancy environment. You will be familiar with local government and private sector clients, and you will have a good working knowledge of different contract types including NEC3.
