Job summary

Salford Community Stroke and Neuro Team is seeking a static, highly specialist B7 Occupational Therapist for a part-time role. The post suits an experienced Band 6 OT seeking a challenge, or a current B7 aiming to join Salford CSNRT to develop service delivery and leadership within a supportive MDT.

We emphasise staff wellbeing and patient-centred care, with a broad team including OT, Physiotherapy, Speech and Dietetics.

Qualifications

• Experience mainly in Stroke and Neurorehab in community setting with some Acute exposure.
• Postgraduate training in speciality area is required.
• Supervision of Band 6 staff and below is expected.
• Provide rich student placements as Clinical Educator.
• Contribute to team development within own profession and wider MDT.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills and in-depth IT competency.
• Strong communication, teamwork and initiative are essential.
• Experience with service improvement projects and weekend/Bank Holiday coverage on a rota.

Responsibilities

Come and join Salford Community Stroke and Neuro Team as a static highly specialist B7 Occupational Therapist. This is a part time role working alongside other B7 OT's and the wider MDT.

CSNRT is all about patient led care, equitable access for Stroke and Neuro patients to our fantastic team and our patients are at the heart of everything that we do!

We are a strong MDT comprising of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech Therapist, Dietitians, Nurses, Psychologists, Therapy Instructors/ Senior Assistants, Social Work, Assistant Practitioners and expert Administrative support.

We are looking for a motivated, dedicated and innovative individual to join our specialist service . You will have an extensive and varied background of neurology experience, ideally in Acute and Community, and Stroke and Neuro.
