Job summary

HCRG Care Group is seeking a Specialist Neuro Occupational Therapist to join our Community Neurological Service in Wiltshire. You will provide specialist assessment, treatment and care across the rehabilitation journey, supporting individuals with complex neurological conditions to achieve meaningful goals and maximise independence.

Qualifications

  • BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy and current HCPC registration.
  • Minimum one year's experience supporting adults with neurological conditions.
  • Proven ability to deliver patient-centred care, assessment, care planning, and case management.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and alongside external agencies.
  • Experience teaching, mentoring, and supporting colleagues, students, patients, and carers.
  • Evidence of leadership skills and a flexible, innovative approach to care delivery.
  • Able to provide sensitive support in emotionally challenging situations.
  • Experience working autonomously within community settings.

Responsibilities

Job Introduction

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Specialist Neuro Occupational Therapist to join our Community Neurological Service, providing specialist assessment, treatment, care, and support to individuals living with complex neurological conditions. This is a rewarding opportunity to work with patients across their rehabilitation journey, helping them achieve meaningful goals and maximise their quality of life.


As a senior member of the team, you will provide expert clinical guidance and leadership, supporting both registered professionals and support workers to deliver outstanding person-centred care. You will also play a key role in developing the service through the supervision, mentoring, and professional development of colleagues and students.


This role is ideal for a motivated professional who is passionate about neurological rehabilitation, enjoys working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, and is committed to delivering high-quality care that has a genuine impact on patients and their families.


Location: Wilton Health Centre


Hours:30 hours per week


Key Responsibilities


  • Support timely hospital discharge and seamless transitions of care across acute, stroke, and community services.

  • Manage complex neurological cases, providing specialist advice and treatment recommendations to multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications & Experience
